Policies, Returns etc

Return Policy

We understand that sometimes what you order may not fit exactly as you need it to or may not be the exact product you need. We will do our best to accommodate your return or exchange! All returns and/or exchanges must be approved by Precision Edge Hockey & Sports prior to being returned to us. Please contact us for approval before sending your return or exchange. Any unauthorized returns or exchanges are not guaranteed to receive a refund or exchange. All returns, exchanges & return or exchange requests must be completed within 14 days of the original shipping date. Customer is responsible for all return and/or exchange shipping costs. Some items may be subject to re-stocking fees. All returns must be new, unused, undamaged, unaltered in any way & must be in the original undamaged box & packaging. Items purchased online may be returned to our retail location upon approval. All returns must have the original receipt/proof of purchase.

Please note that not all items are returnable. Skates that have been sharpened and/or baked or altered in any way cannot be returned. Do not sharpen or bake your skates until you are certain that they fit correctly. Try your skates on indoors on carpet only. Precision Edge Hockey & Sports reserves the right to refuse returns on special orders or customized items. Precision Edge Hockey & Sports reserves the right to deduct a re-stocking fee from the return value. Jocks, Jills, mouthguards, tights, compression pants, undergarments & other related items are not returnable for any reason due to hygiene issues. Please ensure you know the correct size before placing your order. Clearance, closeout etc items are final sale & can not be returned. There may be other items not in this list that are also not returnable.

  • The following Items are not eligible for Returns or Exchanges:
    Sharpened &/Or Baked Skates - Do not sharpen skates until you know for sure that they fit you properly.
  • Any skates that have been sharpened, baked or worn will not be accepted for return as these are considered USED.
  • Jocks and Undergarments - Due to the personal nature of the item & hygiene issues jocks & undergarments will not be accepted for return.
  • Clearance Items – any items marked as Clearance are not eligible for return.
  • Damaged or Blemished Items – Any items that are not properly packaged or are damaged or blemished in any way will not be accepted for return.
  • Used or Worn items – any items that have been used or worn are not eligiblefor return.

A return authorization approval does not guarantee a refund. All refunds dependent upon Precision Edge Hockey's inspection of returned item. All refunds subject to a 10% restocking fee. Precision Edge Hockey must be notified prior to returning item for return pre-authorization.  A return authorization approval does not guarantee a refund. Precision Edge Hockey is not responsible for returns sent without pre-authorization. Warranty &/or defective items must be returned directly to the manufacturer according to the manufacturer’s policy. See the Warranty section below for more information. Please see manufacturer’s website for warranty & contact information. Seller is not responsible for handling returns covered by manufacturer's warranty.

Warranty Information

Most warranty services for defective products are handled by the Manufacturers directly. Warranty &/or defective items must be returned directly to the manufacturer according to the manufacturer’s policy.  *Warranty period begins on date of purchase. Please see manufacturer’s website for warranty & contact information. Keep your sales receipt, warranties require proof of purchase. Seller is not responsible for handling returns covered by manufacturer's warranty. Please see below for manufacturers warranty contact information.

Stick Warranties – most hockey stick warranties are handled directly through the manufacturer not through the retail stores or resellers.  Keep your sales receipt, warranties require proof of purchase. Warranties do not apply to Pro Stock sticks, shafts or blades.

Order Processing Time

Most items on our site are in stock & orders will be processed & ready to ship within 48 business hours. Your order will be processed & shipped only upon payment approval & verification of your billing/shipping address. If an item is not in stock & unable to ship within 48 business hours you will be notified via email to the email address you provided.


Special Orders & Customized Products

We have additional inventory in our 2 retail store locations so please contact us if you are unable to find the product you are looking for or a specific size or color etc as there is a good chance we have it. We also would be happy to special order it for you! Customized orders & products or special orders may require additional time for the item to be processed, customized & shipped. This time frame depends on the customization or special order itself & may vary from 2-3 business days to several weeks. Please allow for this additional time required for customized products or special orders to be shipped to you. Precision Edge Hockey & Sports reserves the right to require require a non-refundable deposit for special orders or customized products. Precision Edge Hockey & Sports reserves the right to deny returns or exchanges on special orders or customized products and/or to charge a re-stocking fee of no less than 20% if we accept a return or exchange of a special order or customized product.


Shipping

Shipping methods are determined by you at time of checkout. Customer is responsible for all shipping costs. Shipping costs are based on the items in your order, their quantity, size & weight, the number of packages required to ship your order, & the type of shipping method you choose. Your shipping charges will be calculated using real-time shipping rates obtained directly from the shipper (UPS, FedEx etc) that you choose at checkout. Please note that shipping time frames do not account for order processing times & is an estimate from the shipping company & is based from the time the carrier actually picks up the shipment. Orders generally process within 48 business hours. Please be sure to account for order processing time when choosing your required shipping time frame. A tracking number will be emailed to you, at the email address you provided, once your order has been processed & shipped.

Please note that orders with different ship to & bill to addresses, a card holder name different then the name on the order, and/or other discrepancies may be subject to delays for verification. We reserve the right to contact the card holder before the order is processed or shipped.

Please note at this time we ship within the United States only. We do not ship to Canada or Internationally.

Please note that UPS does NOT ship to Post Office boxes or guarantee residential next day deliveries & no refunds will be given for next day delivery charges incurred to residential addresses or Post Office Boxes.

Please note that the shipping rates provided are provided by the shipping company you select & may occasionally be incorrect. If for some reason shipping charges need to be adjusted you will be contacted for approval prior to shipping.
